The Cottage

Downstairs

The front door opens into the hallway. To your left is the kitchen diner and the lounge is to your right. It also leads on the the ground floor bedroom and family bathroom.

The kitchen really is the heart of the home, with its large dining table where everyone can sit and eat together. It is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and  crockery, cutlery, pans and utensils. Everything you’ll need to prepare snacks and meals throughout your holiday. This leads through to the back porch, then onto the utility room. That’s where you’ll find the washing machine, freezer, sink and space to hang coats and leave your shoes. There’s a wet room off the utility room with a shower, WC, sink and heated towel rail.

The spacious lounge has a woodburner. So after a fun-filled day you can snuggle up on the comfy chairs and sofa and maybe watch a family movie on the Freeview TV. Or you could sit and enjoy the views across the garden and countryside beyond from the large bay window.

If you’re bringing the grandparents with you, the downstairs double bedroom is a popular choice. It’s next to the family bathroom as well, with a bath and shower over, sink, WC and heated towel rail. Towels are provided.

Upstairs

Upstairs is the double bedroom and twin room. Both have dual aspect windows with beautiful views across the Scottish hills and countryside. There’s also a single bedroom. All of the bedrooms have plenty of storage so you can unpack and make yourself at home. The beds will be made up with fresh bedding all ready for you to sink into and relax at the end of a busy day.

There is oil central heating throughout and good WiFi. So you can stay connected with the outside world during your time here (if you want to).

Outside

The Brow has a lawn at the front and an immaculately kept fully-enclosed rear garden as well. The ideal safe space for young children and dogs to play. There’s also a patio with garden furniture and seating – so you can really embrace rural living and enjoy your meals outside during the warmer months. Or simply sit and soak up the peace and tranquillity with a nice pot of tea or coffee.
